Great Gatsby Dinner BTS

This was a fun night of food a music at the Dean and Barbara White Community Center in Merrillville, IN. Charbria Shine put on this event and she was one of the dancers and hosts during the event. It was a Great Gatsby themed dinner, music, and dance event that interacted with the audience to teach them dance moves from the 1920s. Everyone had a great time and I created this highlight edit to be used for promoting future events. I used two Lumix S5's handheld with a 35mm f1.8 and an 85mm f1.8 prime lens because it was extremely dark in the room. I was actually surprised by how well these cameras did in the low light environment. I also set up the 35mm lens on a tripod for some of the dances. It was a great time and everyone had a blast. I love working with Charbria and Lewis Shine on a variety of projects and I can't wait for the NWI Jazz Festival at the end of July in the same venue.
