My name is George Niksch. I’m a Ball State University alumnus and a Crown Point, Indiana native. Growing up I loved skateboarding. I got a camera for Christmas in 7th grade so I could film skateboarding with my friends. When it came time to go to college I chose to major in Telecommunications with a focus on audio and video production. After college I worked for the PBS station WFYI in Indianapolis where I fell in love with filming events and interviews which are still the bread and butter of my business today. Coming from the Chicagoland area I decided to name my business Lakeshore Video. We provide a wide variety of photo and video production for a wide variety of businesses throughout Chicagoland and across the world. Our main focus is on marketing, events, podcasts, music, weddings, trainings, and political campaigns. The thing that really sets me apart is my attention to detail. Lots of people know how to use a camera these days, but they often forget about lighting and audio. My background at PBS helped shape my knowledge of both while also helping me to realize that a good video focuses on story telling first. I make sure your story is told in a way that grabs attention and compels the audience to really care about you. This is the foundation of marketing and the reason I love what I do.
